I wish to have wings,
I wish to spread them and never look back.
I wish to walk on water, and touch the stars.
I wish to be free, instead of placed on the ground.
I wish to dance in the clouds; I wish to walk on the moon.
But atlas I’m stuck here.
I wish to fly away,
from the brittle cold toward the warmth like you do.
But not today,

Very proud of this been working on this for the last three days. She originally had her “wings” that were slightly faded, but they look really awkward and as my best friend said they look like they’re coming from her chest. So I took them out, maybe later I’ll find wings I like and submit a second one with her having wings.

I was going to submit this tomorrow, but 1. The wings annoyed me 2. I was feeling really crappy and just wasn’t in the mood. Kind of glad I didn’t because it may have come off all morbid and depressing. And to me personally this is all about hopes and dreams.
