She drank the pain away
As she screamed her silent pleas
She plays such twisted games
What’s another lie to the ones who love her?
It’s just a game that she plays, how many days can she cheat
How many will see that smile, and except only happiness
Just another girl, in the world who’s so good at wearing a mask
I wonder if they’ll ever notice.
That she swallows the pain with another pill.
Just another beating, just another bruise;
One more lie to friends can’t hurt more than the marks on her back
One more tear won’t make a difference.
He’ll smash the bottle across her face.
Another story which the nurse won’t believe
Picking the shards from her face
One more lie, one more day, she’ll soon be dead.
She was just an extra girl, who no one could save.
It’s still a question if they made an attempt.
Just another girl, with tears behind that mask
She swallows her fear, taking off her clothes.
Another day will go by, as she puts on a brave face
You may call her slut, you may call her weak.
But she will sacrifice her needs, to keep that babe out of harm’s way
As she poses from the camera, laughs for the video, and strips for him.
A true sign of bravery, to sacrifice everything for one
It’s so sad that the poor little fly didn’t realize there was another way from the spider’s web.
Just one more girl, wearing the mask of Mother Mary,
As I laugh my worries away.
Dancing in the morning light;
Swimming in the tears of the sky
I wish to save them.
I just don’t know who they are.
So as the days pass will all the girls playing masquerade just slip away?

Did you know that in your school there’s a minimum of 5 girls who are being abused physically or mentally emotionally by their parents, guardian, sibling, friend, boyfriend/girlfriend, or even by their self. Note: Boys/Men are also being abused by either of the same thing it’s just the estimate number is a lot lower. Fact: A girl is more likely to be abused. Why? : I have no idea my guess girls in society are consider being the weaker sex. BY BOTH Females and Males.
SO if you know someone or have the suspicion that someone you know is being abused in anyway by anyone. Tell an adult figure you trust. And if you’re not sure, still tell.
Simply because isn’t it better to tell someone be completely wrong and make a complete idiot out of yourself. Then to have been right, and not saying anything and have that person end up dead.
Also bulling is a sign of abuse to.
So do something about it. Most abused cases end up death whether it’s intentional or not or suicide.
People who are being abused, more likely boys will not tell you. Or very good or in strong denial that pretending/believing everything is fine. And that this is their fault.
If you are being abused it’s not your fault. You are the victim no matter what the person/people who are abusing you tell you.
So yeah my righteous movement, not that awesome since it’s just a poem, but it’s better to have people to be aware of what’s going on.
